- Why fixed price instead of hourly?
- Hourly billing misaligns incentives — slower work costs you more. Fixed prices mean every reason to work efficiently, and you know exactly what you’re paying. Scope is the variable, not the clock.
- What if the project grows in scope?
- Minor additions are absorbed. Significant scope additions get a quick re-scope and updated price — agreed before work starts. Nothing silently added to an invoice.
- Do you work with early-stage founders on tight budgets?
- Sometimes. If the problem is genuinely interesting and the scope is small, there’s room to be flexible. The first conversation costs nothing either way.
- Is the retainer required after a build?
- No. Two weeks of post-launch bug fixes come with every Build. The retainer is optional and available if you want ongoing support — many projects run fine without one.
